Roxy and I had our first date in April of 1971. We went to a Twins baseball game. We still have the ticket stubs. This is our engagement picture. We were engaged in September of 1972. We were married July 28, 1973 in St. Paul. We celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary this past July.

Roxy and I went to Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the fall of 1981. We spent a couple of weeks the summer of 1980 at Grande View Lodge in Brainerd, Minnesota. Our daughter, Kristine, would be born in April of 1981. Our son Nick would be born in September of 1985. When you have two active children who like to be involved with all kinds of activities, your summers are never quite the same!
1981 would be the year of a new assignment. After resigning from MSC in April of 1981, I would be going from a college basketball coach and athletic director to a pastor and Bible teacher at The Spoken Word Church.

Greetings,

In July, we celebrated the 25th anniversary of The Spoken Word Church. My main responsibilities are to study God's Word, to pray and to teach the Word of God. The Vision of our church is to train believers to be bright lights in and to the world.

Roxy and I had our first date in April of 1971 at a Minnesota Twins game. She spent that summer in New Hampshire at a summer camp as an instructor and counselor. I spent that entire summer in the Twin Cities dating, dancing with and hanging out with Lynda Waterman (Richfield), Marie Foley (Brooklyn Park) and Mary Jo Nohner (Minneapolis). Roxy and I would begin to date steadily in January of 1972. We were engaged in September of 1972.

Now, to some world news. Keep close attention to the "summit meeting" for the newly declared Caspian State Alliance. Five nations border the Caspian Sea: Azerbaijan, Kazkahkstan, Turkmenistan, Russia and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Bible prophecy continues to be fulfilled right before our eyes.

Lift up your heads for our redemption is near.

Bill
