I began my college basketball coaching career in the fall of 1971. I was a member of the University of Minnesota Golden Gopher coaching staff. Bill Musselman was the head coach. Assistants were Bill Klucas, Kevin Wilson and Jimmy Williams. Other coaches that had an impact on my life up to then were George Marsnik, Ely. Richie Olson, Virginia. Murray Warmath, Bill Fitch, Glen Sonmor, Herb Brooks and Dick Seibert, all from Minnesota. Notice the early 70s look :)

The Yankees bid for the 2007 World Series championship came to a dramatic close last night losing to the Cleveland Indians 6-4. The Minnesota Vikings take center stage now with the Detroit Red Wings, 2-1 on the early season and ready to go in high gear. Nick's softball season is coming to a close. Basketball meetings are upcoming on the schedule. Kristine's two touch football leagues are finishing up the regular season with the playoffs just around the corner. Roxy picked up a basketball scorebook and she is getting ready for the start of the Blaine High School basketball season.

I hope your October plans are going well. Don't forget to get your Christmas shopping done early this year :)

Shalom,

Bill
