The New York Yankees defeated the Seattle Mariners this afternoon 6-1 at Yankee Stadium. Johnny Damon and Derek Jeter each collected three hits. Bobby Abreu, Hideki Matsui and Melky Cabrera had two hits apiece.

Mike Mussina recorded his third straight victory. GO YANKEES!!
