Roxy and I encourage one another to daily spend time in God's Word, pray, praise, fellowship with like-minded believers, to eat the right food and to exercise. Life is much happier when you're living it inside a healthy and healed body.

Hello,

There are 7 methods of healing in the Bible.

1. The Name of Jesus. (John 14:13-14)

2. Pray to the Father. (John 16:23-24)

3. Agreement. (Matt. 18:19-20)

4. Oil. (James 5:14-15)

5. Laying on of hands. (Mark 16:15-18)

6. Gifts of healings. (1 Cor. 12:9)

7. Thank you. (1 Peter 2:24)

I felt impressed to spend days talking about healing because so many people are under attack in their physical bodies. God's perfect will is for all people to walk in health and healing.

Have a great day,

Bill

I have been a fan of the Vikings since they entered the NFL in the Fall of 1961. GO PURPLE! GO VIKES!

Hello,

We should always be thankful to Jesus for shedding His blood on the cross and rising from the dead. Jesus is alive forevermore. The blood of Jesus speaks of better things. Heaven not hell. Life not death. Deliverance not bondage. Health not sickness. Prosperity not poverty. Victory not defeat. Everything heaven has to offer.

As believers we are blood covenant partners with our heavenly Father through the precious blood of Jesus. Everything we have belongs to our heavenly Father. Everything He has belongs to us. What a great deal!

See you in church Sunday!

Shalom,

Bill

Among the many weddings that we have done over the last 25 years, was the Trott wedding. Nicki Trott married Paul Trott from Bermuda and remained Nicki Trott!

Hello,

Every believer has inherited the legal right to use the Name of Jesus. The Name above all names. One of our most valuable weapons that we can use is the Name of Jesus. That weapon is given to us not only for ourselves, but also for the benefit of the satan-ruled men and women around us. Every believer has inherited the legal right to use the Name of Jesus. There is authority in the Name of Jesus because Jesus achieved the authority in His Name by conquest. Jesus is the heir of all things. Jesus inherited His Name. Jesus inherited His Name when He was raised from the dead. The Scriptures reveal that the Name of Jesus has been given for the Church, believers, the Body of Christ, to use. If we don't use the Name, the Name will have no benefit to us. Those believers who use the Name of Jesus will reap the rewards of obedience. Not using the Name on a daily basis is disobedience. Disobedience will stop blessings from flowing in your life. Be bold! Beginning today and everyday from now on use the Name of Jesus and receive everything that Jesus rose from the dead for.

Have a great weekend,

Bill

Shalom,

The Word of God is God's will for us as believers. God desires all unbelievers to receive Jesus as their Lord and personal Savior. It's His will that all be saved. That is why Jesus came. God desires that all believers be filled with the Holy Spirit and speak in other tongues, daily. When an unbeliever receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit comes to live inside of them. He indwells a believer. God desires that all believers be filled with the Holy Spirit. Filled with power. Power to resist temptations. Power to stand in victory by faith. Power to minister with great authority. God desires all people to be healed physically, delivered mentally and prospered financially. God desires all believers to receive everything heaven has to offer. The Bible declares that we are blood-covenant partners with our heavenly Father through the blood of Jesus. Everything we have belongs to God. Everything God has belongs to us. It doesn't cost to be a Christian, it pays. Continue to grow up spiritually and receive everything Jesus rose from the dead for in your life.

Have a nice day,

Bill

Kristine and her dad in Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Shalom,

Over the years, one of the most helpful things I have found in my spiritual growth, is being able to answer these nine questions. The answers to these questions must be found in the Bible, God's Word.

1. Who God is?
2. What belongs to God?
3. What God can do?
4. Who are we as believers?
5. What belongs to us as believers?
6. What can we do as believers?
7. Who is our enemy?
8. What belongs to our enemy?
9. What can our enemy do?

A born again believer is someone who believes that Jesus rose from the dead and someone who has declared that Jesus is the Lord, Master, Boss and Head of their life. God's Word is alive and powerful. God's Word is medicine, medication and health to your flesh. God's Word is prosperity to your finances. God's Word is prosperity to every area of your life. God's Word is a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path.

Have a supernatural day in Jesus,

Bill

"The Boys", Greg and Trevor Swoverland with Bill and Nick Novak.

Hello,

I have been asked many questions about the upcoming national elections. What do I look for in a presidential candidate? The issue that I believe separates the wheat from the chaff is legalized abortion. Any candidate who believes it is right to murder an innocent, unborn baby, except for the two Scriptural reasons, is unequipped spiritually, mentally and emotionally to lead a nation. This person is either an unbeliever or a believer with absolutely no working knowledge of God's Word. Once those candidates are eliminated by that vital issue, I judge the remaining candidates based on their personal integrity. Can they be trusted? I believe a candidate with integrity can surround himself with qualified people who can help him make decisions about issues he does not have an expertise about. A person with integrity usually can find other people who have integrity. There are many other things that can and will be said concerning leadership in government. We will cover those talking points in future postings.

Have a super day,

Bill

2008 started off with smiles and laughter and continues on to total prosperity in every area of our lives. Thank You, Jesus!

Hello,
As believers we should desire to be in close, intimate fellowship with our God, the God of the Bible, Israel and Heaven. Our heavenly Father, our Lord and Savior, Jesus, and our Friend and Partner, the Holy Spirit desire to be in fellowship with us as believers. We stay in close fellowship with them as we study, pray and praise consistently each and every day. When we don't continue in close fellowship, our God misses us. Think of it this way. When you are away from a close friend and you're not able to see them or talk with them or spend time with them or be in their presence, you feel an emptiness inside. Something is missing. You just don't feel right. You want to, but something is missing inside. That's how our God misses us when we are not in daily fellowship with Him. As believers, we are content knowing that we can spend time with our God anytime we want, for as long as we want. He is always eager to spend time with us. Just as we are eager to spend time with the people we are close to, we desire the same high level of fellowship with our heavenly Father, with our Lord Jesus and with the Holy Spirit. Begin tomorrow with like minded believers at your local church. Come ready to hear the Truth, celebrate the resurrectioon of Jesus and to be a blessing to other people.

Shalom,

Bill

Kristine and Dad always know how to relax together. They're both very intense, but have their quiet side.

Hello,

The month of January is only 18 days old and I have been extremely busy. New Year's Day began with a wedding. Since then interesting phone calls, emails, meetings and visits have filled the days. Blaine High School boys' basketball, both JV and Varsity games. Hamline University men's and women's basketball. University of Minnesota women's hockey. NFL playoff games, Detroit Red Wings hockey, Boston Celtics and Phoenix Suns NBA basketball, services on Wednesday night, Friday night, Sunday morning. Daily morning prayer from 6am to 7am, seven days a week. Friends, family and relatives. Now you can see why we spend so much time discussing priorities. As you identify your priorities in life, you eliminate people, places, things and events that steal your time, energy and resources. You also expose potential idols in your life. Make sure Jesus occupies the #1 spot in your life. Seek first the Kingdom of God and all other things will be added to you. Have a great weekend.

Shalom,

Bill

Hello,

There are many keys to growing up spiritually. One of the keys that I always suggest is spending time in the Epistles. These are letters written to born again believers. Only the Epistles tell us :

1. What Jesus did for us!

2. What Jesus is doing for us now!

3. What the Holy Spirit is doing for us now!

Knowing these things, after studying consistently, will cause you to grow up spiritually at a very rapid pace.

Have a great day,

Hello,

I had the honor of performing the New Year's day wedding ceremony for my good friends Steve and Sally Sertich. The ceremony took place at a beautiful Bed and Breakfast in Stillwater, Minnesota. It was great to meet all of Steve and Sally's family and friends. We enjoyed the surroundings, talking hockey with Steve's son Mike and son-in-law Travis, listening to Sally's daughter Claire sing during the ceremony and the meal that was prepared. We especially enjoyed talking about old times and eating Steve's daughter, Sara's, Turtle cake! A very memorable way to spend New Year's day!

Shalom,

We had a very powerful meeting last night at The Spoken Word Church. We were taught the Truth that because we are born again, we are no longer in the flesh, but in the Spirit! Our Father wants us to see ourselves like He sees us, just like Jesus, because the SAME Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead LIVES in us! We need to think and talk and act like Holy Spirit indwelt people! We can do the works that Jesus did (teaching, preaching and healing) because HE said we can! Let's DO IT!

Have a great weekend, doing the works of Jesus,

Bill

Nick Novak getting early coaching mentoring from head coach Bill Novak.

Hello,

I hope you're looking forward to the coming weekend as much as I am. Tonight we have our first Women of the Word meeting of the year. As the pastor, I am always the guest speaker at the January meeting. I am expecting the supernatural, spectacular and miraculous tonight. If you're coming to the meeting, my prayer is that you will have ears to hear what and how God wants you to hear, and that you will have eyes to see what and how God wants you to see. Come with expectant hope, eager anticipation, confident assurance and absolute expectancy.

Tomorrow I will be going to the Twin Cities to watch the University of Minnesota women's hockey team. They will be playing Boston College at 1:00 pm. If you've never seen a Division I women's hockey game, you should make it a point to do so. They're a lot of fun.

The NFL Playoffs continue on Saturday and Sunday with 4 big games. The Cowboys, Packers, Colts and Patriots are the home favorites. The Detroit Red Wings travel to Ottawa to play the Eastern Conference's best team. The Red Wings currently have the most points and the best record in the National Hockey League. The New York Yankees will have pitchers and catchers reporting in 34 days.

Bill

Hello,

Today we want to talk about prosperity. Biblical prosperity means being in control in your life in every area, including your finances. Things to remember:

1. God wants everyone prosperous.
2. Satan wants everyone poor.
3. There are different ways to receive prosperity.
4. There is only one way to keep and maintain prosperity, and that is by consistent, daily time in the Word of God.

We started a new series at The Spoken Word Church this morning on healing. I would like to invite you to check out The Spoken Word Church website (http://www.thespokenwordchurch.org/) and listen to the audio of the services as they are released. Remember:

4. There is only one way to keep and maintain your healing, and that is by consistent, daily time in God's Word.

Hello,

The rest of January we will be looking at some basic Bible teaching. These teachings will remind you of things you have already heard, but that are vital for your success in 2008.

Remember that you are a three dimensional being. You are a spirit, you have a soul and you live in a body. The real you is called the spirit. You have a soul; your mind, emotions and will. You live in a physical body, an earth suit. When you are born again, your spirit is recreated. You change from death to life. Your soul must be renewed with God's Word so that you think like Jesus. Jesus knows that if you think like Him, you'll talk like Him and act like Him. Your soul does not instantly change when you receive Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior. This is a progressive happening that comes from consistency in the Word of God. Your body doesn't change when you are born again. Green eyes before, green eyes after. The Bible does tell you ways to prolong your life and ways that your life is shortened. Taking good care of your body is essential to walking in good health.

Remember that in God's eyes, only one sin (a selfish choice doing it your own way) will send you to eternal death. Eternal separation from God. It doesn't make any difference how big or little the sin you commit in your life. It doesn't make any difference how many. One sin, your first sin, is enough to keep you separated from God. Jesus provided us the Way into heaven. Do you believe that Jesus rose from the dead? Have you asked Jesus to be your Lord and personal Savior? As an unbeliever, the only sin keeping you out of heaven is not receiving Jesus of Nazareth as your Lord and personal Savior. When you sin one time you become a personal sinner. When you are born again you receive Jesus as your personal Savior. He personally saved you and you have eternal life. The nature of God.

Have a great weekend,

Bill

Hi,

2008 will be a year where national, state and local elections dominate the news. The Bible tells us to elect officials who demonstrate honesty, integrity and Godly character. Check the candidates' past voting records. Any candidate can say whatever they think their audience wants to hear, but their voting record is a permanent indication of how they really believe. Use wisdom, knowledge, information and observation to make good and Godly choices this election year.

Looking forward to a wonderful weekend,

Bill
