New York Yankees Shortstop, Derek Jeter.

Hi,

We witnessed history tonight as New York Yankees Shortstop, Derek Jeter, broke Lou Gehrig's record for hits at Yankee Stadium. Lou Gehrig held the previous record of 1269 career hits at Yankee Stadium. Jeter was 2-3 tonight against the Chicago White Sox to give him a record 1271 hits. He now holds a record that can't be broken as there are only 5 more games to play in the present Stadium. The new Yankee Stadium will open for the 2009 season. Congratulations Derek Jeter!!!

Have a good night,

Bill
