Kristine was into fashion (thanks to Grandma Myrt!) even as a toddler!

Shalom,

What are the characteristics of this God-kind of love? They are given to us in 1 Corinthians 13 beginning with verse 4. Love endures long and is patient and kind. Many people endure long, but they aren't very kind while they're doing it! They just suffer along with people and things because they have to.

Love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy. Natural human love is the kind of love that boils over with jealousy. The God-kind of love does not boil over with jealousy.

Choose to be a love person. Choose to endure long and be patient and kind. Make a decision to never be envious or boil over with jealousy. We will continue to talk about this God-kind of love inn the days ahead.

Have a supernatural weekend,

Bill

A beautiful, sunny day in Disney World. Lots of smiles and lots of fun. Thank you, Jesus!

Hi,

We create atmospheres in our homes. Husbands, wives, parents and children need to let the love of God dominate them. Not just natural, human love. Natural love is so shallow.

Believers have an advantage over other people. Not only can they love their family with natural affection, but they can add to it divine love, which never seeks its own, but always seeks the other's welfare.

We should never want to be self-seeking. We should always want to put others first. Why not always try to outdo one another in love? How blessed that is! Praise God! Your home can be like Heaven on earth.

Make a decision to walk in divine love toward those you love. Let the unselfish love of God pour through you to them, creating an atmosphere of love. Remember, love never fails or falls, but always wins in the end.

Enjoy the rest of your week,

Bill

Kristine, Mom and Dad visiting in Dad's hometown of Ely, Minnesota.

Howdy,

Believers are to be known by their love. How is the world going to know us? By our love. By this divine love. By this God-kind of love. By this unselfish love.

This isn't natural human love. Natural human love is selfish. As a usual thing, even a mother's love is a natural human love. It's selfish. "That's my baby"! If we would learn to let the divine love of God, which is shed abroad in our hearts, dominate us, it would make a real difference in our lives. Natural human love can turn to hatred when it doesn't get it's way. The God-kind of love is not interested in what I can get, but in what I can give.

As children of God, the nature of God is in us and God's nature is love. So it is natural for love to be in our reborn spirit. However, if we allow our outward man and our mind to dominate us that love nature is kept prisoner. Let's release the love of God that is within us!

Nick and the Blaine Bengals return to action this week with two home games. Tonight they host Andover and Friday night Park Center comes visiting the Bengals.

Have a prosperous day,

Nick's first Yankees/Twins game from the dugout at the Metrodome.

Hello,

God's family is a love family. The love law of the family of God is that you love one another as God loves you. How did God love us? Did He love us because we deserved it? No. God loved us while we were yet unlovely. God loved us while we were yet sinners.

Love is the only commandment of the love family. If you love another person, you won't steal from them. If you love someone, you won't lie to them. You won't tell a lie about them. Therefore, divine love is the fulfilling of the law. Since love is the law of the family of God, one step out of love is a step into sin. If you have made such a step, repent and get back into walking in love. To fellowship with your Father, to walk with God, to walk in God's realm, you must walk in love, for God is love.

The end of February and the month of March is one of the most exciting times to be a sports fan. The NHL and NBA seasons are nearing conclusion. Baseball teams are preparing for Spring Training games. The NFL Free Agency period is closing in. High school and college basketball and hockey tournaments are heating up. Keep Jesus the highest priority in your life and you will be in an excellent position to enjoy your interests.

Have a fun day,

Bill

Hey cowboys and cowgirls! The Spoken Word Church has many fun activities during the year. This was Hallelujah Night with a western frontier land theme.

Hi,
Love is the fruit of the recreated human spirit, produced because of the life of Jesus inside of you at the New Birth.

Picture a fruit tree. Where does the fruit grow? Fruit grows on the branches. Jesus is the Vine. We are the branches. Natural fruit receives nourishment from the vine of the tree. The trunk of the tree. Life from the trunk flows out into the branches. It is the same in the supernatural realm. God is life. God is love. His life and love flow out to the believers, the branches.

Fruit grows. It doesn't come fully matured. The Bible talks about maturing in the fruit of love. I abide in Jesus Christ and He abides in me. Therefore, I bring forth fruit. As I keep God's Word, I mature in the fruit of love. I am making progress. How about you?

Hope you had a good Sunday morning service. Have a great week.

Shalom,

Bill

I took Nick to his first Vikings football game in 1994. He was 9 years old and the Vikings defeated the Green Bay Packers.

Hello,

When you were born again, God became your Father. God is a love God. You are a love child of a love God. You are born of God, and God is love, therefore you are born of love. The nature of God is in you and the nature of God is love.

In truth, you can't say that you don't have this divine love, because everyone in the family of God has it, or else they are not in the family! They may not be exercising it. The Bible says that the love of God has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. That means the God kind of love has been shed abroad in our inner man. When you are born again, you are born of the Spirit of God. That's when the love of God came in.

See you in church tomorrow morning!

Shalom,

Bill

Reading has always been a big part of our family. The kids were taught early that good readers are usually successful people.

Shalom,

As we approach the end of February we are going to spend some time talking about love. If you walk in love, you will not fail, because love never fails. The Bible talks about many things, but we ought to be interested in love first. Thank God, love never fails. The Bible teaches us to have love with everything. Love makes your faith work. Love first, because we are in the family of love and we have become acquainted with our heavenly Father, Who is love. We should want to learn and grow in love until we are made perfect in love. I have not been made perfect in love yet, have you? I am going to keep working toward this goal! How about you?

Tonight Blaine is at Anoka in high school basketball. The Red Wings travel to Calgary tonight. Tomorrow the University of Minnesota women's hockey team host the Wisconsin Badgers in the afternoon. Tomorrow night the Red Wings are at Vancouver.

Have a great weekend,

Bill

Hi,

God the Father is against the curse (Galatians 3:13). God the Son/Jesus/the Son of God is against satanic bondage (Luke 13:16). God the Holy Spirit is against oppression (Acts 10:38). The God of the Bible wants you free in every area of your life. He wants you free spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, financially, socially and family.

Jesus is God's gift to the world. Believe that Jesus rose from the dead and profess Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour. The satanic/sin nature will be removed and the nature of God will replace it. Studying God's Word and being a doer of God's Word will help you control the nature of the flesh, which you will have, as a beliver, as long as you live in your physical body.

The Holy Spirit is God's gift to the church. Receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit by faith in God's Word. Stay filled with the Holy Spirit every day by praying in other tongues. You'll be full of power. Power to resist temptations. Power to resist sin. Power to walk a victorious life. Power to help others.

Stay full of faith. Stay full of God's Word. Daily studying of God's Word will keep you full of faith. The faith that causes you to receive God's richest and best while you're here on this earth. It doesn't cost to be a believing believer, it pays! A believing believer has eternal life and is a citizen of heaven right now. A believing believer takes the time to find out how God wants it done, and then does it God's way.

The weekend is coming quickly. Have a great day,

Bill

The early years of ministry took a lot of time, energy and patience.

Shalom,

Today let's meditate on the twelve Apostles of the Lamb.
  • Andrew
  • Peter (Simon) (Cephas)
  • James (Son of Zebedee)
  • John (Son of Zebedee)
  • Phillip
  • Bartholomew (Nathaniel)
  • Matthew (Levi)
  • Thomas
  • James (Son of Alphaeus)
  • Simon (The Canaanite) (Zelotes)
  • Jude (Thaddaeus) (Judas) (Lebbaeus)
  • Judas Iscariot

The Bible mentions other apostles. For example, Paul was an apostle. Those listed above were the twelve Apostles of Jesus, the Lamb of God.

Have a good day,

Bill

Hi,

How do you receive anything from God? By faith. By faith, trust and confidence in God's Word. You receive the new birth by faith. You receive financial prosperity by faith. You receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit by faith. You receive healing by faith. You receive God's richest and best by faith in God's Word.

The Bible says faith comes by hearing and hearing and hearing consistently God's Word. Study God's Word daily. Pray daily. Praise and worship daily. Fellowship with like-minded believers daily. Your faith will increase as your knowledge of God's Word increases.

When do you start believing you receive from God? What is your contact point? Here are a number of different contact points. You start believing you receive from God when you say, "Amen, so be it unto me". When oil touches your body. When a believer's hands are laid on you. When another believer says, "I agree with you, in Jesus' Name". When you receive the bread and juice at communion. When you say, "Thank you, it's mine".

Be aggressive in your faith. Find out what God's Word promises. Think like those promises are yours now. Talk like those promises are yours now. Act like those promises are your now.

Have a supernatural day,

Bill

2. I have what God says I have. (Find out from God's Word what God says you have.)
3. I can do what God says I can do. (Find out what God's Word says you can do because you are a believer in the resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth.)

Hello,

There are four major reasons for people not receiving their healing:

1. They lack knowledge of God's Word concerning healing.
2. They reject knowledge of healing from the Bible.
3. They believe untruths that contradict God's Word.
4. They don't walk in love towards other people.

Remember, God's Word is the final, absolute authority. The best thing you can do every day is to renew your mind with God's Word.

Have a great day,

We have gone a number of times to Disney World as a family. One of our favorite restaurants is O'Hana's.

Shalom,

What is the simple Gospel? What is the Good News? The Good News is God loves you. The God of the Bible loves you. The God of Heaven loves you!

Before you received Jesus of Nazareth as your Lord and personal Saviour, you were an unbeliever. A sinner. A child of satan. The devil was your lord and master. You had a satanic nature. You needed a miracle. What made you an unbeliever? What made you a sinner? Why were you in satan's family?

You were a member of satan's family because you committed a sin. You made a selfish decision to do it your own way. You died spiritually. Your destiny became the lake of fire for eternity. Did it take just one sin to get into this position? Yes! Only one sin was needed to seal your eternal destiny. The result of one sin was eternal death and a future in the lake of fire with satan. There was nothing you could do in your own strength to escape this fate. You were lost. You were a personal sinner. You were hopeless. You were without hope in a lost and dying world.

The Good News is God had a plan. God the Father, God the Son , God the Holy Spirit had a great plan to save you. A plan of Salvation. A plan of Redemption. God the Son would willingly leave Heaven and come to this Earth. He would be born in Bethlehem of a virgin. He would be named Jesus. He was the promised Messiah. The promised Redeemer. He was the promised Saviour of the world. Jesus became the Son of God. Jesus became the Son of Man. 100% God and 100% man. Jesus preached the Gospel. Jesus taught the Word of God. Jesus raised the dead. Jesus healed the sick. Jesus cast out devils. Jesus worked signs, wonders and miracles. Jesus willingly gave up His life and died on the cross at Calvary. On the third day Jesus rose from the dead. Jesus is now seated at the right hand of God the Father. Jesus did His part. That's the Good News!

The only sin now keeping you out of Heaven is not accepting Jesus of Nazareth as your Lord and personal Saviour. You are a personal sinner, You need a personal Saviour. Jesus is the One and Only. Is there any reason you can't receive Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour right now? That's your part. Jesus did His part. Will you do your part and receive this wonderful gift of Eternal Life? That's the Good News. That's the Gospel. God is not holding anything against you as an unbeliever. He wants you to receive Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour. He wants you to spend eternity with Him in Heaven. Is there any reason why you can't receive Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour now? Let's pray!

Almighty God, I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus Christ came to this earth, died on the cross for me, was raised from the dead, and is now seated at Your right hand. I accept and receive Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour, and I invite Him to come into my heart and to become Lord over my life. I thank you now, Father, for welcoming me into Your family. You are my Father. I am Your child. Jesus is my Lord! Amen.

If you prayed this prayer from your heart and received Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour, you now have Eternal Life. You are a child of God. You have the nature of God. A great and wonderful miracle took place. That's the Good News! That's the Gospel!

Shalom,

Bill

The Detroit Red Wings lead the NHL with 87 points and 41 wins. If the season ended today, they would be the #1 seed in the Western Conference. Their road to the championship would take this path: They would defeat Nashville in the first round, San Jose in the second round, Dallas in the Conference Championship and Ottowa in the Finals.

Hello,

I trust you had a good Sunday service at your local church. We sure did. We have completed 6 lessons in our healing series with 2 lessons remaining. The God of Heaven wants all people to be born again. He also wants all people to be financially prosperous and successful in every area of their lives. He wants all people to be physically healed and whole.

Does the fact that Jesus Christ could do no miracle at Nazareth prove anything except the unbelief of the people, or would it be right to conclude, because of the failure of His disciples to cast out the epileptic spirit from the boy, that it was not God's will to deliver him? Jesus proved by healing him that it is God's will to heal even those who fail to receive it.

Have a great week,

Bill

The Detroit Red Wings have recently won Stanley Cups in 1997, 1998 & 2002. Could 2008 be the next championship?

Shalom,

The God of the Bible wants all people to be healed, healthy and whole. The Word of God calls sickness and disease a curse, satanic oppression and satanic bondage.

How can God justify us at the New Birth, and at the same time require us to remain under the curse of the law, which Jesus redeemed us from by bearing it for us on the cross? (Galatians 3:13).

See you in church Sunday,

Bill

The Red Wings have 2 games this weekend. Saturday they travel to Toronto and Sunday they are home against Anaheim. Go Wings!

Shalom,

The God of the Bible wants everyone healthy and healed. Sickness and disease is a curse, not a blessing. Since Jesus Christ came to do the Father's will, was not the universal healing of all the sick who came to Him, a revelation of the will of God for our bodies?

Did not Jesus emphatically say that He would continue that same work in answer to our prayers while He is with the Father (John 14:12-13) and is not this promise alone a complete answer to all opposers?

Have a great weekend,

Bill

The Red Wings have 7 players from Sweden on their team. Henrik Zetterberg is one of our favorites. Henrik leads the Red Wings in points with 66.

For my birthday, one of my gifts was an excellent lower level seat at the Xcel Energy Center to watch my Detroit Red Wings play the Minnesota Wild.
The Xcel Energy Center was rocking and rolling for 58 minutes as the Wild held a 2-1 lead over Detroit. The Red Wings outshot the Wild 16-3 in the third period and finally tied the game with 1:20 left in regulation. The winning goal was scored 1:37 into the overtime giving the Red Wings a 3-2 victory.

At Kristine's house getting ready for the Red Wings/Wild game at the Xcel Energy Center.

One of our favorite players, #13, Pavel Datsyuk, standing behind #51, Valterri Filppula. The Red Wings, down 2-1 with less than 2 minutes to play, tied the score on a goal from Dan Cleary and won in overtime on a goal by Brett Lebda.

Hello,

We are continuing to ask logical questions regarding God's will to heal all people. I believe that the Bible teaches that God wants all people healed physically. Why should not the "last Adam" (Jesus) take away all that the first Adam brought upon us?

If as some teach, God has another method for our healing today, why would God adopt a less successful method for our better dispensation?

Bill

Bill meditating on the Word while Kristine sleeps!

Hello,

We've been talking for the last couple of days about how it is God's will for everyone to be healed. Since Jesus, in the Gospels, never commissioned anyone to preach the Gospel without commanding them to heal the sick, how can we obey this command if there is no Gospel (Good News) of healing to proclaim to the sick, as a basis for their faith? Or, since faith is expecting God to keep His promise, how can there be faith for healing if God has not promised it? And since the Bible is full of promises for healing, are they not all Gospel (Good News) to the sick? Since "faith comes by hearing...the Word", how can the sick have faith for healing if there is nothing for them to hear?

Have a great week,

Bill

An early family photo of Pastor Bill and his family, Roxy, Kristine and Nick.

Hello,

It is God's perfect will that all people be healed. Could the loving heart of the Son of God, Who had compassion on the sick, and healed all who had need of healing, cease to regard the sufferings of His own when He had become exalted at the right hand of the heavenly Father? The answer is NO!

Tomorrow is the Super Bowl in Glendale, Arizona. The undefeated New England Patriots against the upset minded New York Giants. Tonight the Red Wings travel to Boston to play the Bruins before heading to Minnesota for a Tuesday night game against the Miinnesota Wild.

Shalom,

Bill

The Rusk County Inline Hockey League was one of the most popular youth activities for many years. Comissioner Bill prepares to start the game with Nick, to the left of Bill, taking the opening face-off wearing his black helmet and white jersey.

Hello,

It is God's perfect will that all people be healed. If sickness is the will of God, then would not every physician be a law breaker, every trained nurse be defying the Almighty, every hospital a house of rebellion instead of a house of mercy, and instead of supporting hospitals should we not then do our utmost to close them?

Have a great weekend,

Bill
