Bill slashing through the International Falls Broncos' defense for 2 points!

Hi,

October has been a very supernatural, spectacular, miraculous month for the people and families of The Spoken Word Church and Bill Novak Ministries.

We are in the center of a big revival in Northwest Wisconsin. Unbelievers are being born again. Believers are being filled with the Holy Spirit and learning how to walk in their authority as a believer.

Bodies are being healed. People without jobs are obtaining them. People with jobs are receiving raises, better benefits, better working hours and better conditions. Families are being brought back together.

At The Spoken Word Church a number of couples are now expecting new additions to their family. The church is growing from the outside and from within. Jesus is Lord and He's coming back soon!

Have a great day,

Bill

World Series game #5 has been rescheduled for Wednesday night.

Shalom,

1 John 3:12-13 asks why did Cain murder his brother Abel. The Word of God says it was because Cain's works were evil and his brother Abel's works were righteous. Then verse 13 says, "Do not marvel, my fellow believers in the resurrection of Jesus, if the world (world system) hates you."

The world we're living in right now hates absolute, Godly standards. They want everything relative, subject to people's views and opinions. When you promote a Godly standard the world will not like it. The question you need to ask yourself as a believer is, will you steadfastly hold to the Truth and a Godly standard or will you try to please the world and serve its appetites?

Talk to you tomorrow,

Bill

Bill and the Virginia Blue Devils against the Eveleth Golden Bears. Nick's Blaine Bengals begin practice in November.

Hello,

The elections are scheduled for next week. Remember to check the voting records of the candidates. See if they are pro-life or pro-death. What kind of judges will they appoint? Are they for big government or small government?

What do they believe about immigration, the economy, terrorism, oil, alternative energy sources?

What are your partnerships? Who do you spend time with? What do you talk about? Where do you go? The Bible says bad companions corrupt good people. Do people add to your life or subtract, multiply or divide? Life is full of choices. There are decisions to be made every moment of every day.

Have a wonderful day,

Bill

It's snowing in Minnesota today!

Shalom,

Today at our service we continued our series on Bad Boys/Bad Girls. God loves bad boys. God loves bad girls. He never gives up on either. God loves godly choices. God hates ungodly choices.

The Bible is filled with examples of people whom the world has counted out, but God doesn't. The God of the Bible can turn bad situations into good situations. He'll never leave you. He will never give up on you.

Have a great week,

Bill

Hello,

When God repeats Himself in the Bible, it is not because He is absented minded. It is because there is a principle there that God really, really wants us to take to heart. In these days, secular America has no king (no God of the Bible) either. The left does that which is right in their own eyes. They are not evil. Just wrong. They don't know God's Word. It's important to understand that what the Bible talks about for the last days is not something that happens in some kind of movie/TV world, populated by evil men who are all deliberately conspiring to bring about the destruction of good.

It happens in a real world. One like this one. With real people who really mean to do good. But they have a different moral compass because they have no king (Lord Jesus, Truth, God's Word).

It is amazing to know and understand God's Word living in these last days. Things are coming to pass just like the Bible says they will. When the Jews were granted their land back by the United Nations in 1948, and the country called itself Israel, the final countdown began and the seconds are ticking away. AMEN!!! (So be it)!

Have a great day,

Bill

Hi,

What an exciting time to be alive! What a dangerous time to be alive! What an awesome time to be alive! I am so glad that Jesus is my Lord and personal Saviour! Is He yours?

Today is the greatest opportunity to present Jesus to the world in the 6000 years of recorded history. People and families of the United States are worried, upset, mad and frustrated. They need Jesus. If you are a believer, jump into the revival! Wake up from your sleep and slumber! You're alive! Act like it, think like it, talk like it!

If you're an unbeliever, only Jesus can give you fulfillment in life. The Word of God is alive! He wants to live inside of you. He rose from the dead for you! He wants to lead you into victory in every area of your life. Jesus wants to be your Master and personal Saviour. Be wise and receive Him today.

Have a great weekend,

Hi,

October continues to be an extremely busy and exciting month at The Spoken Word Church in Ladysmith, Wisconsin.

On the national scene, the final presidential debate will take place tonight. The election is less than three weeks away. The economy has occupied the news recently, taking the attention away from other major issues in our country.

Remember to keep looking at the character and integrity of all candidates running for office this year. Check their past voting records. Examine who they associate with. Determine who best loves our country and its values, and who you trust with the future of your children and their families.

Have a fantastic day,

Bill

Hi,

After you have received your healing, you must know how to keep God's healing power flowing throughout your body. The Word of God is alive and powerful. The Word of God is medicine, medication and health to your flesh. The Bible teaches us that daily meditation in God's Word will help you keep God's healing power alive in your body. Find out what God's Word says and be a doer of God's Word, and healing will manifest itself in your body.

Remember, God is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. With faith, trust and confidence in God's Word, you can please God. Be a doer of God's Word and you will be blessed in everything you set your hand to.

Talk to you tomorrow,

Bill

The University of Minnesota football team will be playing in their new on campus outdoor football stadium beginning in 2009. The 2008 Golden Gophers are off to a great start with a 6-1 record so far this year.

Hello,

We have established that the God of the Bible wants all people to have healthy bodies. Satan, our adversary, wants bodies weak, sick and diseased.

The Bible teaches a number of different ways to receive your healing. Jesus has already been made sickness and disease when He hung on the cross. His sacrifice on the cross and resurrection from the dead provided healing for our physical bodies. This truth was established 2000 years ago.

Among the ways the Word of God gives us to be healed are the laying on of hands, the gift of healings by the Holy Spirit, the prayer of agreement, the prayer of faith, anointing with oil and receiving communion. We could spend a lot of time teaching on each method.

Tomorrow we will discuss the one way to keep your body healed.

Have a great day,

Bill

The Minnesota Vikings will be going after their second consecutive win and third win in the last 4 games when they host the Detroit Lions this afternoon at the Metrodome.

Shalom,

God wants everyone strong, healthy and enjoying a long life. Satan wants everyone weak, sick and dying prematurely.

Satan will use people, places, things and events to steal your health. To kill your physical body. To destroy your physical prosperity. He wants you incapable of carrying out God's special assignments for your life. He does not want you to enjoy life.

Satan knows that if he successfully attacks your physical body, he will be able to negatively affect your family, mind, emotions and financial prosperity.

God is always for you. Satan is always against you. Always remember, you have been redeemed, rescued and delivered from spiritual death, financial poverty and physical sickness. You are not trying to get healed, you are healed.

As a believer, your Heavenly Father sent Jesus to this earth to heal you. Jesus came to this earth, was made sick and diseased on the cross and rose from the dead. He was made sick so you could walk in health in your physical body. Thank You, Jesus!

Have a great week,

Bill

The Detroit Red Wings will be playing their first road game of the 2008-09 season tonight against the Ottawa Senators. The Red Wings are going for their second consecutive Stanley Cup and their 5th Cup in the last 12 seasons.

Shalom,

Yesterday we began talking about revival and physical healing. God wants everyone strong, healthy and enjoying a long life. That's what God wants. What you want will determine what you get.

How much do you want to walk in physical health? Are you willing to eat properly, drink wisely, get enough sleep, exercise regularly and have fun playing?

Are you willing to cast off ungodly thoughts, unforgiveness, strife and bitterness? You have much to say concerning the health of your physical body. Knowing that God's will for your life is perfect health is an important starting point.

God wants you to have a healthy body so you can work with Him in accomplishing what He desires for the people and families on planet Earth.

Have a great Sunday service,

Bill

  2. Satan wants everyone weak, sick and dying prematurely.
  3. There are many ways to receive God's healing power.

Hi,

As a believer you have the privilege and the responsibility to make an educated decision in the upcoming elections. Check out the past voting records of the candidates and make an intelligent decision on which candidate has followed Godly, Biblical principles. If you're looking for a candidate that you can agree with 100%, you will be disappointed.

This will be the 10th national election that I have voted in. My first was in 1972 when Hubert Humphrey and Richard Nixon were running for the office of president.

I have found that regardless of who I voted for, and regardless of who won, that God's Word always works. By the stripes of Jesus I am healed regardless of who is president.

I have found that my God supplies all of my needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus whether a conservative or a liberal is in office. As a believer in the resurrection of Jesus, I vote in every election for the candidate that agrees most with God's Word. I pray daily for whichever candidate wins. I have faith, trust and confidence in God's Word and His promises every day.

What a wonderful position we have spiritually, seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. What a wonderful position we have physically, trusting in the Word of God in every area of our life. God's Word is God's Wisdom for living a prosperous and successful life during our earth walk until we pass away into our Heavenly future.

Have a great day,

Bill

The Minnesota Vikings defeated the New Orleans Saints 30-27 in the Monday Night Football game. The game was a real momentum boost for the Vikings' 2008 season.

Shalom,

The United States of America is on the brink of the greatest revival in our nation's history. Everything needed for the revival is in place.

Jesus taught in parables, simple truths, but the educated at the time were too proud and stiff necked to learn. They lacked love.

The USA is in a similar situation. The simple Bible truths have been replaced by an intellectual mindset. The people and families of America are beginning to look for the REAL answer. His Name is Jesus. He is the living Word of God. The Word of God is alive. The Truth is being poured forth and poured out from the East coast to the West coast and from the North to the South.

Jump in with both feet. it is going to be quite a ride. AMEN!!!!!!!

Shalom,

This is our final posting comparing believers and unbelievers. I hope you have been blessed with the teaching up to this point. Today we'll talk about what happens when a person receives Jesus as their Lord and personal Saviour and when a person does not.

A person who accepts and receives God's great plan of salvation, His plan of redemption, has eternal life. A person who does not accept and receive God's plan of salvation, His plan of redemption, remains in eternal death.

Eternal life is the result of being born again. At the new birth, you exchange eternal death for eternal life. Death never means extinction in the Bible. Death in the Bible, means separation. At physical death, the real you, (the spirit man) and your soul (mind, emotions and will) are separated from your physical body.

Eternal death is eternal separation from God. Eternal separation from the presence of God. Eternal separation from Heaven. Eternal separation from believers.

Eternal life is not separation but a uniting of believers with believers for eternity. A uniting of you, as a believer, with God forever. An eternity in Heaven with the family of God. What a wise choice you made to receive Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour! You were taken from the kingdom of darkness and translated into the kingdom of light. You were taken out of satan's family and brought into the kingdom of God. The God of the Bible. You exchanges eternal death for eternal life.

If you haven't made that choice yet, is there any reason you can't receive Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour right now?

Shalom,

Bill
