Jenna, Dawson and Pastor Bill getting ready for Monday night football. The Minnesota Vikings at the New Orleans Saints.

Shalom,

This is our final posting comparing believers and unbelievers. I hope you have been blessed with the teaching up to this point. Today we'll talk about what happens when a person receives Jesus as their Lord and personal Saviour and when a person does not.

A person who accepts and receives God's great plan of salvation, His plan of redemption, has eternal life. A person who does not accept and receive God's plan of salvation, His plan of redemption, remains in eternal death.

Eternal life is the result of being born again. At the new birth, you exchange eternal death for eternal life. Death never means extinction in the Bible. Death in the Bible, means separation. At physical death, the real you, (the spirit man) and your soul (mind, emotions and will) are separated from your physical body.

Eternal death is eternal separation from God. Eternal separation from the presence of God. Eternal separation from Heaven. Eternal separation from believers.

Eternal life is not separation but a uniting of believers with believers for eternity. A uniting of you, as a believer, with God forever. An eternity in Heaven with the family of God. What a wise choice you made to receive Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour! You were taken from the kingdom of darkness and translated into the kingdom of light. You were taken out of satan's family and brought into the kingdom of God. The God of the Bible. You exchanges eternal death for eternal life.

If you haven't made that choice yet, is there any reason you can't receive Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour right now?

Shalom,

Bill
