Hello,

Remember, one of the keys to consistent victories in life is being willing to pay the price. Sometimes you must decide to give up some good worldly things to receive God's best in all areas of your life. You decide how much you want to think, talk and act like Jesus. Only you can stop yourself from being successful in life.

Have a great day,

Bill

Hello,

I want to share a prophecy for 2008 given by our ministry partner, Jerry Savelle:

Your 2008 will be great, if you’ll just decide that you will wait.
Wait on Me and don’t give in and I’ll cause it to be the year that you win.
It’s what you do now that matters most, so heed My Word says the Lord of Hosts.
I’ll do My part, I promise you, so keep on standing like I’ve told you to.
Good things are coming, this you’ll see, so lift your voice and keep praising Me.
The angels are busy and I’m working things out, and soon you’ll have a triumphant shout.
Your enemy is defeated and he will not win. I’ve come through for you before and I’m doing it again.
This is your year. It’s true, it’s true! Turnarounds are coming and great breakthroughs, too!
Hallelujah!

Shalom,

Bill

This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Hi,

The Word of God instructs believers to be witnesses in the world. We are instructed to let our light shine. Notice it doesn't say make our light shine. We don't try to be a light. We are a bright light in the world and to the world. How bright is your light shining?

Being a witness and doing witnessing are two different things. Doing witnessing or acts of presenting Jesus is a part of being a witness. You are a witness by how you look, how you sound, how you act and how you present yourself to the world.

Let the Holy Spirit lead you, guide you, warn you, and direct you, moment by moment. A good work has begun in you and will continue until Jesus returns.

Have a great day,

Bill

Nick really was once a Yankees fan!

Shalom,

The New York Yankees play their first road game of the 2008 season today against the Kansas City Royals. Game time is 3:00 pm Wisconsin time. The Detroit Red Wings are preparing for their first playoff game at home Thursday against the Nashville Predators.

God's Word is Truth. Absolute Truth. God's promises are everlasting. They are for yesterday, today and tomorrow. Jesus is the living Word of God. 100% God and 100% Man. God the Father signed a contract with God the Son. An everlasting covenant or contract that cannot be broken. As a believer, we are in Jesus and He is in us, therefore, we are partakers of this everlasting agreement, contract, covenant.

Knowledge and obedience to this covenant will prolong your life here on this earth. Unbelief will shorten your life here on this earth. Unbelief comes in two forms. Ignorance of God's Word. If you don't know how to think, talk and act, you will miss out on God's best. The cure is to gain knowledge of God's Word. Disobedience is another form of unbelief. Knowing how to think, talk and act, and not doing it, will produce cursings rather than blessings in your life. The cure for disobedience is obedience.

Choose to find out the terms of your covenant with God and be a doer of the Word, not just a hearer.

Have a great day,

Bill

Be sure to check The Spoken Word Church website and listen to our lessons in this series.

The Yankees defeated Tampa Bay 2-0 this afternoon to even their record at 3-3 this season. Wang, Chamberlain and Rivera combined for the shutout. Matsui was the hitting star with a 2 run homer.

The Red Wings ended their regular season with a 4-1 victory over Chicago. They will open the playoffs on Thursday as the #1 seed and will host the #8 seed, Nashville. Go Red Wings!!!!

The Detroit Red Wings will be going after their fourth Stanley Cup Title since 1996-97 next week when the NHL playoffs begin.

Hello,

The Detroit Red Wings defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets last night 3-2. The Red Wings, down 2-1, scored 2 goals in the last minutes of play. Henrik Zetterberg scored the winning goal with just 11 seconds left in the contest.

The win gives the Red Wings the best overall record of any team in the league. In 1985-86 the NHL began presenting the President's Cup to the team with the best record during the regular season. Since its inception in 1985-86 the Red Wings have won the President's Cup a record 6 times. Tops among any team in the league. Detroit won the President's Cup in 1994-95, 1995-96, 2001-02, 2003-04, 2005-06, as well as this year. Last year they had the same number of points as Buffalo, but Buffalo won the Cup because they had more wins than Detroit.

The Red Wings will play their last game of the regular season this Sunday when they host the Chicago Blackhawks. Playoffs begin next week.

Have a great weekend,

Bill
